Christmas Jumper Day is only a few days away now. Although I'm not currently in my usual work environment, I'll still be taking part, and I've dusted off my Primark Santa jumper ready to go! If you're still looking for ideas, I've put together some of my favourites from this years picks, whether you're a fan of full-on-cheese, or prefer something a little more subtle.

Party Outfit Ideas

I don't know about you, but my wardrobe is seriously lacking in party wear at the moment. Not good as we're now heading towards that time of year when the festive parties are in full swing. If like me you're struggling with what to wear, I've trawled the web to come up with a few outfit ideas. I've put together outfits where all pieces are from the same shop, so you don't have to go here, there & everywhere to complete the look. Most are available on the high street, with one online only store, and there's also a budget friendly supermarket option in there too.

February Primark Haul

It's been quite a long time since I did a good old Primark haul on my blog, way too long! I went in recently to pick up a few essentials for my hospital bag (post on that coming soon!), but it kind of turned into a full on splurge, so I thought I'd share with you all of the bits and pieces I picked up.

If you read my Body Confidence in Pregnancy post, you'll know that one of the things I've done to improve my confidence with my changing shape was to invest in a few pieces of proper maternity wear. One of my favourite brands has come to be New Look. It's definitely the best brand I've come across in terms of good value (I'm was seriously praying that Primark would come out with a maternity range, but no such look) and some of the pieces are really pretty and flattering. Here are some of my favourite picks after having a little mooch on their website recently.

Winter Sales Haul

So in traditional fashion, I was straight online even before we'd got to Christmas Day seeing what bargains I could snap up in the winter sales. There wasn't a great deal I was after for myself, I have to admit most of the money I had aside for the sales went on clothes very my little boy - there were so many cute things around, particularly in the Asda sale - but I did pick of few of my own bits & bobs up that I thought I'd share with you.

Apologies for the lack of posts over the last few days, I've had a rotten cold and unfortunately had nothing prepared in advance that I could share with you. But now I'm back with one of my favourite posts - a Primark haul! I told myself when I got back into blogging that Primark hauls would not become a monthly thing again, but it's looking like that's actually going to happen again - oops! Here's what I've been buying over the last few weeks.

Spring Clothing Haul

I know we are well onto our way to the summer months now, but with the unpredictable weather we've been having in the UK recently, I've only just begun to think about switching up my wardrobe for spring/summer. Being a dress size or two smaller than I was this time last year meant I was in need of a few new pieces in my wardrobe, which was the perfect excuse for a spot of shopping! Here's what I've picked up recently from New Look and H&M.

Primark Haul Spring 2016

If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll know I love a trip to Primark. Most of the items in my wardrobe get changed out at the end of each season and replaced with new ones, so I don't really want to be spending huge amounts of the majority of my clothing, and Primark has really stepped up its game in the last couple of years - I always manage to find some great pieces and best of all it's super cheap. As I haven't done a haul post in a while, I've managed to accumulate quite a bit of stuff. Here's what I've snapped up from Primark recently.

This is definitely not the most affordable wishlist I've ever created but, what can I say, I have expensive taste at the moment! I'm not sure when I'll actually get chance to cross any of these items off the list, but it's nice to dream! Here's what I'm currently lusting after....

Wardrobe Rules I'll Now Be Sticking To

Moving house last month prompted a very much needed clear out in our household, and I think the biggest de-clutter of all came from my wardrobe. When it actually came to looking at everything, I was astounded by how much I'd actually held on to that I was never going to wear again, whether that be because it was now too big, or I just didn't like the piece anymore. By the end, I had over two huge bin bags full of clothes to go to charity - what a massive waste of space! I decided that going forward I was going to be much more ruthless with my wardrobe and curb my shopping habits a little too, just by following these simple rules, with the aim of having items in my wardrobe that I'll actually wear, not a pile of stuff I'm holding onto "just in case".

Recent Primark Purchases

So it's been a while since my last Primark haul on the blog, and it's safe to say I've accumulated a lot of stuff from there since! Don't worry, I didn't go on a mad splurge one day, this stuff has all come from several different trips over the last few months (I'm not sure that makes it any better?!), but since it was all still in stock the last time I visited the store, I thought I'd share with you everything I've bought recently.

Winter Sales Haul

I didn't realise just how much stuff I'd actually bought in the sales until it came to photographing it all for this post. I'm surprised it's as much as it is, as I really wasn't that impressed with the sales this year, particularly as a lot of the higher end brands I was after were added to the sales really late, or most not at all. I am still really pleased with the things I did get, and I guess it saved me a few pennies anyway. As well as my usual online shopping, I ventured out into the Boxing Day store sales for the first time this year - an experience I doubt I'll ever repeat! We got there nice and early, so town was pretty peaceful when we arrived, but fast forward two hours and everywhere was absolutely manic and I had to get away! So here's a sneak peak of everything I managed to get.

New Look Winter Wishlist

The "problem", if you can call it that, with losing weight is that you get to the stage where some of your old clothes begin to look ridiculously big! After having a sort out of my winter wardrobe recently, I've realised I am now at that stage. Whilst some things, cosy winter jumpers for example, can be passed off as oversized, some things just really do need replacing. I'm going to hold off for a while, and see what I can get in the sale, but that hasn't stopped me having a little browse on the New Look website recently, so I can get an idea of that I might want when I come to do my post-Christmas shop. I haven't shopped in New Look for the longest time, despite it being one of my favourite stores, and I remember them having a great winter sale last year, so I'm hoping I can pick up some good stuff. In the meantime, here's what I'm currently lusting after...

My Bargain Winter Coat

I've been trying to spend a lot less money on myself recently, especially with Christmas coming up, and with various things to save for looking into next year, but I really was in desperate need of a new winter coat. Primark always has a wide selection of coats, but I find a lot of them really just don't suit me. I did, however, spot this gorgeous number whilst I was out on a shopping trip a few weeks ago.

Now we're onto the really good stuff! The slightly more luxurious items that you may buy for someone really close to you - and that you secretly hope you'll find tucked under the tree waiting for you on Christmas morning! If you've got quite a big Christmas budget, or you just want to treat someone really special, hopefully they'll be a few ideas in here for you.

This was probably my favourite gift guide to compile. There's so much stuff in this guide (especially the beauty section!) that I'd love to receive myself - it was so tempting whilst browsing to add a few bits into my online shopping basket, but I was a good girl! Under £30 is the price range I tend to use for most of the gifts I buy, so it was really useful for my own Christmas shopping research too!

I'm back!!!! I'd been thinking about it for a while, and I couldn't have done all of that Blogmas prep work months ago and then let it all go to waste! So I thought I'd kick things off with my favourite posts to read at the moment - gift guides!! I've got most of my Christmas shopping done already, but I still can't resist taking a look to see if there's that hidden gem out there that I've missed! Primark Haul September 2015

This months haul is pretty big. I kind of lost a bit of control when I went on my last trip to Primark, but now that they have well and truly stocked up on their autumn/winter pieces, I couldn't help myself. This is my favourite season for fashion and so I was dying to get a few new pieces for my wardrobe.

Primark Haul August 2015

Considering I bought quite an expensive item (expensive as far as Primark goes anyway!) and still managed to keep the total under £100, I wasn't expecting this haul to be very big, but having now gone thought the items I picked up I've realised it's even bigger than last month! Oops! I think you can tell from this haul I am well and truely over summer and very much looking forward to autumn arriving - this is my favourite season in terms of the fashion!
