My Tips For Decluttering

In the last twelve months my husband & I have moved house, and had the arrival of a new addition to our family to prepare for, so we've had our fair share of big house clearouts to do! Having lived in our previous property for over five years, these were never a regular thing for us, and we soon came to pay for it when moving day approached! I'm now a firm believer that we should be doing this on a much more regular basis, just to keep on top of things and ensure we don't end up with just so much unwanted clutter again! I've actually come to enjoy a good clearout - it's quite a therapeutic experience, and seeing just how much more space you have in your home afterwards is great. Here are my top tips that I've learned to do when approaching decluttering your home.

How I've Become More Productive This Year

Those of you that have been long time readers may have noticed that last year I was very much on and off with my blogging. There were various reasons for that throughout the year, but one of the main ones was that I just wasn't giving myself enough time to get any blog related work done. I wasn't very organised at all, and as a result my productivity suffered. Fast forward to this year, and I feel like I'm in a much better blogging mindset. I've really worked to make sure I'm the most productive blogger I possibly can, whilst also growing a child inside me and continuing my full time job, and as a result I've been able to keep up a regular upload schedule so far. Here's just a few changes I've made to achieve that.

Beauty Tips I Wish I'd Known As A Teenager

I'm sure we've all been guilty of our fair share of beauty misdemeanors in the past. Even now I admit I don't always get it right, but it's so cringy to look back at some of the things you used to do as a teenager, and think you looked pretty good doing them! Here are some of the tips I wish I'd followed when I was a teenager, to stop these terrible crimes being comitted!

Tips For Sticking To A Healthy Eating Plan

image from weheartit.com
So I've been back on a healthy eating plan in preparation for my sister's wedding for quite a while now and I have to admit I've been struggling a little, especially getting back into it at the start. I really needed something to give me that push to really kick on with it before I ran out of time, so I had a little think back at all of the things I learned for my last slimming journey and have started putting those back into practice, and I have to say things are going a lot smoother now. If any of you are struggling in the same way I was, here are my top tips.

Blogging With a Full Time Job

image from weheartit.com
Finding the time to sit down and put together a blog post when you've got work and a social life to juggle too can be a little tricky. When I first started blogging 5 months ago, I would sit down when I got home from work in the evenings and write out my post to go live that evening. Doing this every other night wasn't working for me. I would often be very tired when I come home and would not feel like sitting at my laptop when I've already been staring at a computer screen all day. After about a month or so, I finally settled into a routine that I was happy with, to ensure I was still getting out the content I wanted but still had a positive attitude towards blogging and ensuring it didn't become like a chore to me. I am by no means a blogging expert and I'm certainly not professing that this is the way all bloggers must do it, but I thought I'd share with you the tips I've picked up along the way, if some of you are finding it hard to keep up your blog whilst working full time.
