My Perfume Collection

Now that my makeup storage has had a total revamp, gone are the stacks of Glossyboxes on top of my chest of drawers, so I now have more space to organise my perfume collection. I've had a little sort through, and thrown away any really old perfumes I've had sitting around, and any that I know I'm never going to touch again, so I thought I'd share with you which fragrances have still made the cut in my collection.

l-r: Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh, Marc Jacobs Daisy Summer, Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream, Marc Jacobs Daisy
As you can see I'm a massive Marc Jacobs fan, especially when it comes to the Daisy scent. I've gone through so many bottles of the original perfume that I've lost count, and I've picked up many of the special edition fragrances along the way, and these are the ones I have left in my collection. Although I've tried many different variations of the Daisy fragrance, the original scent had always remained my favourite, but my newest perfume purchase, Daisy Dream, could be a contender to knock it off it's perch. I've only had it a few weeks but already I'm in love with the Daisy Dream fragrance. It smells like a more grown up, sophisticated version of the original.

l-r: Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede, Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, Chanel No5, Gucci Flora
In the middle row of my perfume basket, I have the rest of my more expensive fragrances. I was so excited to receive my first Chanel perfume, Coco Mademoiselle, as a Christmas gift from my mum last year. It's a really beautiful scent, which actually ended up being the perfume I wore on my wedding day. Although Daisy is my favourite, I reach for it almost every day so I wanted something a little different and more special to wear on my big day. Chanel No5 and my Jo Malone perfume are also two very recent purchases - the Chanel No5 was a duty free buy on the way home from our honeymoon, and I bought the Jo Malone fragrance with my birthday money in July. Flora is a scent that's been in my collection for a long time. Although I don't reach for it as much since Daisy came along, I couldn't bear to throw it out.

l-r: Ghost Moonlight, Taylor Swift Wonderstruck, Marc Jacobs Honey, Marc Jacobs Dot
At the back I have a couple of my more affordable fragrances - Ghost Moonlight and Taylor Swift Wonderstruck. I have to admit I don't reach for these two very often at all, but I've kept them in case I fancy something a little different. Ghost Moonlight is a beautiful fragrance to wear in the evening and holds a bit of nostalgia for me too, as I was obsessed with the Ghost fragrances as a teen. Wonderstruck was kind of bought on a whim. It was mentioned a lot in the blogging world, back when I was just a reader rather than a writer, and it sounded like the kind of fragrance I would be interested in. Luckily I really liked it, but I think it may be a little too young for me these days. It's still a really fun fragrance to wear now and again, and I love the pretty purple bottle. Continuing on with my Marc Jacobs obsession, I have a couple of minis in the Honey and Dot scents. I got these in a set, also from the honeymoon duty free trip, as I was yet to buy either of them, but I knew my sister had both and loved them, so I was curious to try them. The set also came with a mini Daisy and Daisy Eau So Fresh, which I have stored away as I already have the bigger bottles out on display.

Have you tried any of the fragrances in my collection?" What's your favourite perfume?
