Beauty Wishlist - August 2014

As you can see, my beauty wishlist is pretty hefty at the moment - and this is just the top of my list I'm showing you! Reading lots of beauty blogs means I get tempted by so many different products, something my bank balance tends to hate me for. Some of these products are quite pricey, so I'd imagine they'll be staying on my wishlist for quite some time. But hey, Christmas is only four months away...

Zoeva Rose Gold Brush Set £55.00. This little brush set is so cute. It's been on my wishlist for a very long time. Zoeva brushes are so soft and such good quality, and the rose gold makes them look really pretty - who can resist anything rose gold?! I also really like the pouch that the brushes come in. Although the price tag is pretty good value for money, considering how many brushes you get (and when MAC brushes can set you back around £20 EACH!), it's quite a large chunk of money to spend in one go, so I think this one will have to remain on my wishlist for now.

Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Waterproof Mascara £9.99. I've seen some really good reviews about this mascara recently and, since my favourite mascara at the moment is so damn expensive, I've been looking for a cheaper mascara that I'll love just as much. On a recent shopping trip with my friend Alison, she mentioned that this was her current favourite mascara, which got me wanting to try it even more.

Clinique Chubby Stick For Cheeks £19.00. I love the chubby sticks for lips and eyes, so it's only right that I try Clinique's latest release for the cheeks too. I've not had a look at these in store yet, so I'm not too sure as to which shade I want, so I'll have to go on a bit of a swatching mission. If they're as good as the previous chubby stick releases, I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

Diorskin Nude BB Cream £30.00. Another pretty pricey product that I'll probably have to give a miss for now! I've tried a sample of this BB Cream before and absolutely loved it, so I've been wanting to buy myself a full size for a while. It gives a beautiful glow to your complexion, and is definitely the best BB cream I've ever tried - but for £30 you wouldn't expect anything less!

Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm £22.00. I've really been loving using cleansing balms in my evening skincare routine recently. At the moment I'm using the Lush Ultrabland cleanser, but this one has really been catching my eye, as it's a huge favourite in the blogging world. After reading Kal's review, I've been sold and can't wait to pick it up. I've also noticed while compiling this wishlist that Clinique has a Bonus Time set in Boot's at the moment, so if I get in quickly I can bag myself a freebie if I purchase the two Clinique products on my wishlist!

Max Factor Colour Corrector Sticks £9.99. I was intrigued about these sticks from the moment I first read about their release. I've been looking for some sort of offer to be on at the Max Factor counter, as I'm interested in trying a couple of them. I suffer from slight redness and under eye bags, so I've really wanted to get my hands on the green and yellow CC sticks to see if they really do make a difference.

The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Body Butter £13.00. I'll be honest, I'll want the whole argan oil range from The Body Shop! I got so excited when I read about the release of these products. I suffer from dry skin, especially in the winter, so I'm hoping to pick at least something up from the range before then and hopefully it will make my skin at lot softer and hydrated. Top of the list though, as always, is the body butter - nothing beats a good Body Shop body butter.

NARS Dual Intensity Eyeshadow £21.00. Ok, these are pretty expensive for what they are, so I may have to give these a miss, but they look so pretty! I saw these on a few blogs and vlogs when they were first released and I love the effect they appear to give on the lids. Again, I'm not sure which one I want, I'll have to pop into Space nk or Selfridges if I decide to take the plunge on these, but I really like the look of Callisto.

MAC Viva Glam Rihanna Lipstick £15.50. I really love the idea of the Viva Glam lipsticks - all of the profits from the sales of these lipsticks goes to the MAC AIDS Foundation - but I've never seen a shade that's caught my eye. A lot of beauty bloggers have raved about Viva Glam V, but it didn't look like something that would suit me. But since seeing Viva Glam Rihanna online, I've really wanted it. It's a gorgeous deep red that I think would suit a variety of skin tones. I think I'm going to try and get my hands on this one very soon - it will be nice to help out a charity and treat myself to something pretty at the same time!

Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail Polish in Pillow Talk £2.69 (usually £3.69). Ok, so pastel nails are usually associated with spring, but I like to wear them all year round. There's quite a few beautiful pastel shades in the Rimmel Rita Ora collection, but Pillow Talk has been the one I've been drawn to when I've seen them in Boots - probably because it's in my favourite colour, blue. Saying that, as they're currently on offer, I may just pick up more that one anyway!

Chanel Coco Noir Eau de Parfum £75.00 for 50ml. I love Chanel perfumes - they smell so beautiful and sophisticated, and the bottles look lovely on your dressing table. But the large price tag does mean that these are very much a treat for me. I already have the No5 and Coco Mademoiselle fragrances, and Coco Noir is next on my hit list. I have seen this described many a time as the perfect fragrance for winter, so I may put this one on hold and pop it on my Christmas list!

Have you tried any of these products? What's currently on your beauty wishlist?

  10. Nice wishlist, I'd love to try pretty much everything. I wanted to buy that Max Factor CC stick, however I've discovered that Essence and Catrice will have these too, so I'll probably first try the cheap version :)
I don't know about that Bourjois mascara...I've seen many reviews where girls didn't think it was anything special. If you want to try one of their mascaras, I absolutely recommend you trying the Volume Glamour - I really liked it for volume :)
