My 2015 Beauty Favourites

I know you've probably already read a million of these posts over the last week, but hopefully you're not bored of them yet - I know I'm not! I don't really feel like I've tried as many new beauty products in 2015 as I have done in past years, I guess I'd been trying to reign in my spending a little bit. Having looked back, a lot of products in my 2014 favourites still get used often now, but I have managed to find a few products new to my collection in the last year that I've been loving.

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum I'd been using Hydraluron as my daytime serum for such a long time, but I was starting to feel like it wasn't doing anything for my skin anymore. I'd heard some really positive comments about this product so I decided to give it a go and have loved using it since. It leaves my skin feeling plum and hydrated, but is so super lightweight that it's perfect for daytime wear.

Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nail Polishes Most of my manicures are done in a hurry, so these fast drying polishes are just the thing I need. I absolutely adored the shade range from the spring collection, but my favourite shade has to be Sprint Finish, a gorgeous plummy-red shade, perfect for autumn winter, and goes really nicely with a berry lip.

Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir Fragrance You just can't beat a Jo Malone fragrance, and I'm starting to build up a nice little collection now, but my current favourite is Pomegranate Noir. It's quite a fruity scent, yet it's quite deep and has a hint of spice to it. I get so many compliments whenever I wear it, and the Jo Malone scents always last such a long time.

Lush Ro's Argan Body Conditioner I'm all about quick and convenient when it comes to taking a shower, especially in the winter when I just want to hop in and out, and get straight back into some warm clothing (or snuggly pjs!). This is one of those moisturisers that you can use whilst you're in the shower rather than freezing your butt off slathering body butter on afterwards! It smells gorgeous and leaves my skin feeling so soft. I got two more small tubs for Christmas, so I'm nice and stocked up for this year too!

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue This was my go to base over the summer, as it feels really lightweight on the skin, yet still has a pretty decent coverage. It's more of a tinted moisturiser than a foundation which meant it was quite hydrating and comfortable to wear too, and leaves a lovely radiant look to the face. I'll definitely be using this again in summer 2016.

MAC Brave Lipstick This has to be my favourite lipstick purchase of the year! It's just the perfect everyday nude colour for me. It's quite pink toned, which I like, and it suits my complexion nicely. It's a satin formula, so it's got that almost matte look to it, without being really drying.

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara 2015 was the year I finally found a Benefit mascara that I liked - hurrah! Everyone had raved on so much about They're Real, and I just didn't get it, but this one I can get on board with! It gives my lashes such great length and curl, and has a really intense black finish, so it looks really nice for nights out especially, I've managed to accumulate so many miniatures of this mascara, that I haven't needed to buy a full size yet, but that will definitely be a purchase at some point in 2016 I'm sure!

Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Bronze Palette Almost as good quality as the Urban Decay eyeshadows but for just a fraction of the price, these eyeshadow palettes are such good value for money I had to snap one up! I believe there are three palettes to choose from, all with very neutral, wearable tones, but the Nude Bronze was most appealing to me, as it's the type of colour range I tend to reach for on an everyday basis. The shadows are so buttery smooth and really pigmented, I can't get over just how good they are!

What were your 2015 beauty favourites?

    1. I keep looking at Velvet Teddy and really like the look of it, but I'm worried it may look too dark on me. It is one I've had my eye on for ages though xx
