#AMonthOfMAC - Rebel

Ask a group of beauty lovers what their favourite autumn lipstick is and I reckon at least half of them would say MAC Rebel, and I can see why, it's one of my favourites too. I put off buying this lipstick for such a long time, as it looked really scary in the bullet, but with so many people saying how gorgeous it was, I thought I must be missing something, and I'm so glad I finally caved and bought it.

Despite how dark and scary it looks in the tube, Rebel is a gorgeous pinky plum shade. I was shocked when I swatched this for the first time just how different this lipstick actually is once you apply it. It's the perfect lipstick for the autumn berry/plum lip trend.

It's a satin formula, so it's going to stay put for a really long time, but doesn't have the drying effect that matte lipsticks tend to have, so it's a really comfortable one to wear, and easy to apply too. Once the colour does eventually start to fade though, you are left with a really pretty plum/berry stain on your lips.
