Exciting New Beauty Releases

I guess I could call this a bit of a wishlist too, as I'm actually excited about every single release I'm writing about! I feel like the beauty world has absolutely exploded with new launches over the last few weeks - why is this happening when I'm trying to save money for my maternity leave?! I may treat myself to a couple of things here, but I thought I'd share the lot with you nonetheless, so here are the beauty launches I'm most excited about at the moment.

Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Blush Palette £59 I've made no secret of my love for the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes in the past, I love the subtle hint of colour they give whilst giving your face a bit of a glow. As this is a strobing palette, I'm expecting more highlight and shimmer than their previous offerings, so I guess some of the original blush fans may now be a lover of this palette, but having seen swatches online I'm dying to take a look at this.

Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipsticks £15.50 I'm a sucker for any brand when they bring out a new liquid lipstick. Nine times out of ten they are always really easy to apply and are long lasting, and I've heard good things about the Urban Decay ones. There's 20 shades in the range, so plenty to choose from, but Backtalk & Crimson most appeal to me.

L'Oreal Botanicals Hair Masque Range £11.99 I really need to shake up my hair routine a little bit and give it some more tlc. My hair is a bit damaged and fragile at the moment, so the mask for fragile hair looks like it could serve me well. I believe the botanicals range is a little more pricey than a lot of L'Oreal haircare products, with the shampoos coming in at £9.99 too, but it may be worth the extra few pounds if it's as good as I'm led to believe.

L'Oreal Pure Clay Glow Scrub £5.99 I really liked the L'Oreal Pure Clay masks that came out towards the end of last year. My favourite was the glow mask, so I'm really intrigued to try the face scrub to match it. I'm not sure about their directions of use though - every day, morning & night? I've never used a face scrub that regularly, so I think if I do try it I'll only be using it a few times a week.

The Body Shop Almond Milk & Honey Range £2 - £15 This range sounds absolutely heavenly, and could end up being a new favourite of mine, as it's supposedly ideal for dry skin. I loved the Honeymania range, and combining this scent with almond milk sounds gorgeous. In an ideal world I'd hot foot it into The Body Shop and grab the entire range, but my bank balance wouldn't thank me for it, so top of my list to try is the body lotion and the bath milk.

Pixi Double Cleanse £24 I think a lot of beauty bloggers were very excited when they heard about this collaboration with Caroline Hirons - after all , when it comes to skincare the lady knows what she's talking about and her opinion is so well respected. I have however read a few mixed reviews about this, so I may hold back on purchasing this until I really do need some new skincare bits.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Kiss Edition £55 Marc Jacobs perfumes are my favourite by far, I have a tonne of them in my collection and always try and get the limited edition fragrances if I can. The packaging for the Kiss Editions is absolutely gorgeous, but it was the Dream version that really grabbed my attention for the fruitiness of it. With top notes of Blackcurrant, Pink Grapefruit and Pineapple, it sounds absolutely delicious.

Dior Lip Sugar Scrub £24 A bit pricey for a lip scrub, I'm sure a lot of people will agree, but I think the fact that it comes in a proper lipstick form, rather than a little pot as a lot of them do, makes it much more convenient to use. I always get in a bit of a mess when I use my Lush sugar scrubs, with sugar ending up everywhere - I probably end up wasting quite a lot. I think this may be a bit more of a luxury purchase when I'm a bit more flush!

Clinique Crayola Chubby Crayon Box £35 This is such an exciting collaboration I think. I know a lot of people who are fans of the Clinique chubby sticks, and the shade range is really pretty, with Fuzzy Wuzzy & Mauvelous being standouts to me. You can pay £17.50 for a full size if you want, and there are more shades available, but for the price of two, I'd be more inclined to go for this set of eight minis - more variety for your money.

NARS Unfiltered II Cheek Palette £45 I don't know why, but despite really liking the formula for NARS blushes, and owning a couple, I've never been drawn to any of their cheek palettes. However, this has now changed. There are two palettes available in the Unfiltered range, and this is the second and, in my opinion, more wearable palette, especially for paler skintones. All of the shades are absolutely stunning, and I can't see that there's one that I wouldn't wear.

Stila Magnificent Metals Liquid Eyeshadow £23 When I first saw these I thought they may be glitter overload, but the more swatches I've seen, the more I think they are just so pretty and would be an interesting addition to my makeup collection. There are a lot of gorgeous shades to choose from too, I'd be spoilt for choice, but I feel like as this is not exactly your typical everyday wear product, I'd have to limit myself to one. I think it's between Smoky Storm & Smouldering Satin.

Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Kit £6.99 I've always been interested by the Kylie lip kits, but couldn't be bothered with the faff of getting them over from the States, as I'd heard some bad stories. These latest offerings from Barry M appear to be practically the same thing, at just a fraction of the price, and more readily available to us Brits - hurrah! Being a nude lip lover, I'm definitely going to be purchasing Go To Nude at some point. I hope that if these products turn out to be good that they release a wider range of shades. I feel like a nice red & a winter berry would be good additions.

Stila Heaven's Hue Highlighter £28 I feel like I could've put the entire range of new releases from Stila in this blog post, it all looks good to be honest, but this was another one of the standout products to me. I'm not really interested in the other two shades this comes in, but Kitten looks gorgeous. Of course it's the same pretty champagne shade are the famous eyeshadow, and from swatches I've seen it looks like the perfect highlight.

L'Oreal False Lash X Fiber Mascara £10.99 This mascara looks rather interesting. This is another product I've heard mixed things about, but mascaras are such a tricky thing, you can never really please everyone with them. It promises to give you that false lash look, without the hassle - though having to wands to apply from is a bit of a faff in some ways! A bit pricey for a drugstore mascara but, with it being less than half the price of my current favourite YSL Babydoll, I'm considering giving this a go when I next run out.

Which recent beauty release has excited you the most? Have you bought any of these products?
