Winter Weekend Pamper

Whilst we've had a couple of sunny(ish) days recently, it's still been pretty damn chilly outside, reminding me we are still very much in the middle of winter. To make me feel much warmer and snuggly after a long day sat in the cold yesterday, I decided to treat myself to a little bit of a wintery pamper session, and here's what I decided to use.

I started off by running myself a bath of course. I received the Laura Mercier Creme Brulee Honey Bath as part of a gift set for Christmas, but was still to get around to trying it out. It smells absolutely gorgeous, really sweet, and filled the bathroom with a lovely smell just like the dessert. I lay back for a while, whilst burning the Champneys As Good As New Candle and just relaxed. Normally I'd use bathtime as a chance to catch up on YouTube, but this time I just wanted a bit of peace and quiet as it had been a long day,

Once out of the bath & dried off, I slathered some of the Laura Mercier Creme Brulee Souffle Body Creme on, which again came as part of the Christmas gift set. Again this smelt really nice and sweet, and left my skin feeling really soft and hydrated. As I'm now heavily pregnant and spent a lot of time on my feet that day, you can imagine they were feeling a little sore, so it was definitely a night to pull out the Sanctuary Spa Cooling Leg and Foot Gel. I posted a review of this product here, along with a few other products from the Mum To Be range, but I can tell you this has become a bit of a lifesaver during late pregnancy. It leaves my feet feeling so soothed.

Next it was time to give my nails a little bit of tlc, which is something I've not done a lot over recent months, so they weren't looking their best. The polish I opted for was the Barry M Silk Polish in Poppy, which is a really pretty pink-red, which I thought was very winter appropriate without looking too festive. Once my nails had dried off, I applied a load of The Body Shop Almond Hand & Nail Cream to my hands. Having gestational diabetes means that I have to prick my finger four times a day to test my blood sugar levels, and my hands do get quite dry and sore from it, so applying lots of hand cream has become a must for me.

Finally, before tucking into my pre-bedtime cuppa and rich tea biscuits, I popped on some of the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask. This stuff is a bit of a holy grail for me throughout the year, but particularly in the winter when my skin is a bit drier. It leaves my skin feeling so super soft and hydrated in the morning, plus the smell of the mask is gorgeous!

What do you do during your winter pamper routine?

  1. I absolutely love the Origins Drink Up Intensive mask! I like to use coconut oil as a hair mask when I'm having a pamper night
