Tanya's Christmas Review
I'm not one to jump at the latest YouTuber book release, but when I heard about Tanya's Christmas, I was very excited. I've been subscribed to Tanya Burr's YouTube channel for quite a few years now, and her Vlogmas videos are probably my favourites to watch, mainly because her love of all things festive is so infectious. Every year, when I watch her video from her annual Christmas party, I think I'd love to be able to host a gathering like that one day, so I was really interested to read her take on Christmas, and what tips she had to offer.

December Reading List
It's December, time to dust off those Christmas novels! I've built up a small collection of Christmas books over the years, but when it comes down to it, I've never actually sat down and read many of them! I'm making it my mission this year to have a bit of me time before bed every evening and try to get through three books in the run up to Christmas. So here's what I'll be reading this month.

What I Learned From The Little Book Of Hygge
Hygge is a word that's been throw around quite a lot in the last few months, particularly in the blogosphere. If you've never heard of the concept (pronounced Hoo-ga) before, it originated from Denmark, one of the happiest countries in the world. Whilst it has been translated in many different ways, it is essentially all about creating a cosier, more intimate environment, and better quality of life. After reading a few blog posts, and thinking the whole thing sounded amazing and just what I needed to incorporate into my life, I decided to learn a bit more and treated myself to The Little Book of Hygge by Meik Wiking.

2017 Reading List
I think most years recently I've set myself a goal to read X amount of books by the time the next year comes around, and I've mostly failed with this! The thing is, I love books and I love to read, but I never seem to find the time to actually sit down and get lost in one. It could prove pretty challenging to get through a huge list of books once I've given birth, so I think setting myself a target just five for this year should be manageable, but of course I'd love to add a few more to the pile if I can.

Pretty Honest by Sali Hughes
I don't think I've ever seen so much hype around a book in the beauty community before. Sali Hughes, weekend columnist for The Guardian, has created quite a stir with her first book, and I was keen to see what all the fuss was about, so this immediately went onto my Christmas list, and I was lucky enough to receive it. Now I can see what all the well deserved hype was for.
