My Favourite Blush Of All Time - Benefit Rockateur

I can't believe how long I've had this blush, and how many times it has featured briefly on my blog, yet it doesn't have it's own blog post dedicated to it...until now! Before Rockateur came out, I could never seem to justify the price of a Benefit blush. I felt like I could get very similar colours on the high street for a fraction of the price, so I didn't really see what all the fuss was about. After seeing swatches of the Rockateur blush though, I swiftly changed my mind. The colour was beautiful and I thought it would suit me nicely, and at the time I couldn't recall seeing anything similar in the high street, so I nabbed it as soon as it was released in my local Debenhams!

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

Finally a Benefit mascara I can get on board with! I don't think I've made any secret of my dislike for the much hyped They're Real mascara and I wasn't much more impressed with their original Bad Gal Lash mascara, so when I heard about the launch of the Roller Lash, although I was intrigued I wasn't prepared to spend the best part of £20 to potentially be let down again. Luckily last month's Elle Magazine came with a mini tube of the mascara so I could try before I buy.

My Favourite Highlighters

For some, highlighter is one of those summer-only products, but I like to give my face a bit of a glow all year round - just a subtle sheen to perk up my complexion on a drab winter's day. Until recent years, highlighter was one of those steps that I tended to skip in my routine, and I probably had just one sad, unloved highlighter sitting at the bottom of my makeup bag, but now I seem to have amassed quite a few in a short space of time, and these are my top three.

Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner

The blogosphere went wild about this liner when it was first released earlier on in the year. It appeared to be a bit of a revolution in the way we apply gel liner. Having always had issues with gel and liquid liner application, I was quite intrigued to see if this would actually improve it in any way. However, I had also bought into the hype of Benefit's They're Real Mascara in the past and been hugely disappointed, so I was a little reluctant to give this a go straight away, especially as it's priced at £18.50 - yikes! When I saw that last months issue of Elle magazine came with a free mini version of the liner, I thought it was about time I gave it a go - at least if I didn't like I'd only wasted £4 instead of almost five times that!

Benefit Cheeky Sweet Spot Gift Set

I'm always looking for good value for money when it comes to the Christmas gift sets, and boy this one is good! I was having a little look through Benefit's festive sets on a recent trip to Debenhams but was disappointed to see most sets had the They're Real mascara in, which was a real let down of a product for me, so I didn't fancy picking any up. That was until I saw the Cheeky Sweet Spot set....

Benefit Gimme Brow Review

Considering I'm meant to be imposing a spending cut on myself, I seem to be ticking off the items on my spring beauty wishlist pretty swiftly. To be fair, I did manage to get a £10 discount on this item, thanks to some Debenhams card rewards, so this was a real bargain for me. I have a number of brow products in my stash - some fill, some shape and some set. This little beauty does them all in one sweep of a brush. It's safe to say I'm completely in love with the Benefit Gimme Brow.
