Duty Free Haul

I'm back! We had an absolutely amazing honeymoon in sunny Cyprus, but I'm definitely feeling the effects of enjoying all inclusive eating right now! Thanks to our very generous friends and family, we had quite a few extra euros to spend, and I decided that my share was going towards some extra duty free goodies, so my haul is a little bigger than I expected!

On the way out, I was hoping to pick up a few bits from MAC from Birmingham airport, but everything I wanted was either sold out or not stocked at the airport at all (don't worry, I've already rectified this since being back in the UK haha!). I could have spent a fortune elsewhere though - so many lipsticks caught my eye!

One particular lipstick I have been dying to get my hands on for a very long time, is the YSL Rouge Volupte. The packaging of these lipsticks is so stunning, definitely the most beautiful of any makeup I own, and I'd heard good things about the formula & finish, so I was so excited that I could add a couple to my lipstick collection. I opted for the shades 1 (Beige Charnel) which is a lovely, slightly peachy, nude colour, and 12 (Corail Incandescent), a coral-red from the Rouge Volupte Shine range.

On the way home, I picked up another lipstick, this time from Chanel's Rouge Allure collection. I spend a long time umming and ahhing over this one (it's a good job our flight was a little delayed!), but eventually opted for 91 (Seduisante), a gorgeous soft pink colour.

Whilst in Paphos airport, I spotted a little selection box in miniature Marc Jacobs fragrances. My all time favourite fragrance is the original Daisy perfume, and I have various bottles of the other editions too. I thought it would be a good idea to stock up on some travel sizes of my favourite perfume, whilst also getting to try out Dot and Honey, both of which I have been wanting to buy for a while.

Of course, I had to treat myself to a Chanel fragrance. They are so gorgeous but so expensive, so they really are a once in a blue moon purchase for me. I already have the Coco Mademoiselle perfume, so this time I thought I'd buy the classic No5 perfume. I'm so excited to wear this, but I'll definitely be saving this for special occasions only!

Have you been duty free shopping yet this summer? What did you buy, or what are you planning to buy?
