Next Home Haul

It's been over eight months since my husband and I tied the knot, and a couple of weeks ago we finally got around to using the Next vouchers that some of our lovely guests got us as gifts. It was quite difficult trying to decide what we wanted to get. We are currently living in a rented property, so we can't go and fully redecorate the place, and a lot of the things we did want we already had! But I did manage to spot a few gems in Next Home to give the place a more personal touch.

House Rules Cushion £12.00
I was really starting to dislike the cushions we currently had in our living room so we bought quite a few ones, most of them were just plain cushions for £8 each, but this one really caught my eye and now takes pride of place on our armchair. I'd love to say that we actually lived by all of these rules, but "share chocolate"?! Really?!

Quite a boring purchase, but the design was really pretty. We have a shoe cupboard by our front door, and all post and other bits & pieces seem to get dumped there, so it can quite often be a bit messy. I thought having this letter rack would bring a little more order to it! It's very pricey tough - there's no way I'd have bought this without the vouchers!

Dressing Table Set £18.00
I can't find this online which is frustrating, but if you follow me on Instagram, you will have seen this already. It's the same design as the letter rack, and pretty good value too, considering that was more expensive! It's mainly for jewellery storage, with a four drawer jewellery box and a tray for rings and other pieces - though you could really put whatever you wanted in there - but it also comes with a little photo frame, yet to be filled by me as you can see!

12 Piece Flutterby Dinner Set £25.00
We seem to have a tonne of glasses and mugs in our house but not so many plates and dishes, so I thought it was time we stocked up on some more. The butterfly design on these is so pretty, and they were the theme for our wedding, so it was apt that we chose these as a wedding gift. They had lots of pretty glasses in the same design too, but I'd have nowhere to store them!

Bread Bin £30.00
This might seem totally random, but I've wanted a new bread bin for ages! I'm really short, so having a tall bread bin with a lid on the top was no good for me - I couldn't see what was inside! With this one, the door at the front pulls down, so you can see what's inside perfectly. Plus, we've taken to storing our tea and coffee on top, so it's a space saver too haha! It might be ridiculous that our most expensive purchase was a bread bin, but it's my favourite thing that we bought!

What do you think to my Next Home purchases?

  2. I love the Next homewares! I really like that fusion, the rules are really cute - though I'm already in trouble for having too many cushions in our house as it is!
