Spring Beauty Wishlist

Taking part in Twitter chats and reading so many blogs means I have produced a pretty huge wishlist of beauty products I want to try out - if I showed you them all, trust me, we'd be here all day! Rather than boring us all to death with the longest list in the world, I thought I'd show you just some of the things that have made their way to the top of the list over recent weeks.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush £28.00. With this being quite a pricey product, I think this one will have to stay on my wishlist for quite some time! They look so stunning and I love that they give an illuminating effect as well as a pop of colour to your cheeks. I've flitted backwards and forwards between a few of the shades as my number one choice, but Ethereal Glow currently comes top of the pile for me.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water £3.33 (RRP £4.99). Being the good girl that I am (ha!), I've been waiting for my Loreal Micellar water to run out before I dash out and pick the Garnier alternative. However, having just gone to find a link for you guys and discovered that Boots is currently selling it at 1/3 off, I may just have to go and get this now! I am almost done with the Loreal one, so I think this is acceptable, don't you?! If you read my review of the Loreal version, you'll know that there were a couple of things I was unhappy with. Having heard that so many people prefer Garnier's offering, I've been dying to give this one a go to see for myself if it really is that good.

MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in Peach Blossom £15.00. I've actually very recently purchased a new MAC lipstick (Vegas Volt, if you were wondering) so this is a little naughty of me to be wanting to purchase another one so soon. A lot of people have been describing Peach Blossom as the perfect spring lip shade, which is what has drawn me in. From swatching it myself, I can see what they mean, and I'd love to get my hands on it soon.

Benefit Gimme Brow £17.50. I don't feel like I own a decent brow product, it's something I really need to invest in. Having seen this product raved about so much over the last month, I'm really tempted to give it a go. I'm thinking of heading to Debenhams later this week and getting my brows waxed (it's long overdue!) at the Benefit counter whilst I pick this up - you can get this done for free throughout March if you make a donation to charity, so it's well worth doing. And with £10 of Debenhams rewards to spend, I'll be snapping myself up a bargain!

The Body Shop Honey Bronzing Powder £13.00. I've listened to and read Estee raving about this product for such a long time but I've just never got round to picking it up. Bronzer is not something I wear very often in autumn/winter, so I guess it never really crossed my mind whilst out shopping until the weather started to improve. I've been a little disappointed with a few recent bronzer purchases, so I'm definitely in the market for trying out a new one.

Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream £9.99. I've been trying to resist adding this to my wishlist for a long time as I'm trying not to get sucked into the whole CC cream hype. However, I have been suffering a lot from redness recently, and I've heard that this product helps to reduce that, along with the signs of fatigue, which again I could do with some help with! The only thing that's making me a little reluctant to try this out at the moment is that the tube seems so small to spend £10 on - I'm worried I won't be getting much product/use for my money.

Have you tried anything on my wishlist? What were your thoughts? What products do you have on your wishlist at the moment?

  5. I think go for a colour you know you're going to get a lot of use out of for your first one. Crème cup is a really nice everyday shade. I'd imagine Peach Blossom would be too xx

  6. I've only just bought Gimme Brow, and I really love it! I don't know if I'd use mine daily because they do come out a dark with the darkest shade, but the lighter would be too light for me! Maybe I just need to get used to having some definition :)

I am dying to try the Honey Bronzer too, might get it this week because there's discount on again at The Body Shop!

  8. The Garnier cleansing water sounds interesting, I love my cleansers! Garnier does a Goodbye Dry cleansing lotion and a toner too and that is fabulous. Was fretting over the dryness of my skin like a month or two ago, but using these two products has sorted it right out. I might get the moisturiser next time too.
