Lush Sleepy Body Lotion Review

I've been a really bad sleeper ever since my early teens. Every night without fail, as soon as my head hit the pillow, my mind would be racing with things I need to do and remember, or something that has been troubling me would suddenly pop back into my head, and that would be it, I'd be lying their for hours, wishing my brain would just switch off. I tried changing up my pre bed routine from time to time, banning technology after a certain time, slowing myself down by reading or colouring, which helped to a certain extent, but I would still never fall asleep particularly quickly, and I would still often wake in the night. Back in the days when I could nap whenever I got home if needed, this wasn't such an issue, but looking after a baby all day is exhausting, and I can't just rest whenever I want. Since Oliver started sleeping through the night, I thought it would be best to start taking advantage of it and try to start getting as much sleep at night as I could. Winter Weekend Pamper

Whilst we've had a couple of sunny(ish) days recently, it's still been pretty damn chilly outside, reminding me we are still very much in the middle of winter. Exciting New Beauty Releases

I guess I could call this a bit of a wishlist too, as I'm actually excited about every single release I'm writing about! I feel like the beauty world has absolutely exploded with new launches over the last few weeks - why is this happening when I'm trying to save money for my maternity leave?! I may treat myself to a couple of things here, but I thought I'd share the lot with you nonetheless, so here are the beauty launches I'm most excited about at the moment.

As our spare room is currently being turned into a nursery, and my beauty setup has had to find a new home within our house, I decided it was the right time to have a huge clearout. I have way too many beauty products, I was just never going to get through them all in time before they became really gross! So, I've decided to put just a few (yes, this is not everything!) of the bits I'm getting rid of up for sale so you guys can grab yourselves a bargain!

Lush The Comforter Range

The one thing I probably missed most about not having a bathtub in our home for the last five years was not being able to have a Lush bath, especially with my favourite bubble bar, The Comforter. Of course, it was one of the first things I had to do when we moved into our new place and, I was so grateful to receive one of these lovely products, as well as the shower cream in the same scent, from my friend Alison as a house warming gift.

The Body Shop Frosted Plum Range

I love trying a new scent range from The Body Shop, especially when it's one of their festive scents. When I saw that The Body Shop had released a new Frosted Plum range for Christmas 2015, the products instantly went onto my wishlist and I couldn't wait to try them out.

The Body Shop Glazed Apple Body Butter

The Body Shop is one of my favourite places to go during the Christmas period, as their festive scents are always so good. The Glazed Apple range was first launched last year, but this product in particular has been a real hit with me, so much so that I've had to go and repurchase a new one recently.

Soap & Glory Body Mists

I have to be honest, I don't think I'd have ever walked into Boots and purchased a Soap & Glory body spray. I'm much more of a perfume sort of girl, but since receiving the Soap & Glory Scent-Sationalism Set as a gift, I've been really impressed with these scents, and they are great for popping in your handbag for a quick refresh throughout the day.

Mini Lush Haul

I love Lush! I love the smells and the cute products they have. I really cannot wait to get a place with a bathtub so that I can buy more of their stuff - I'm kind of limited at the moment and I'm really missing their Comforter bubble bar! I did however pop in recently and pick up a few bits that I can use at the moment, no bathtub required.

The Body Shop Virgin Mojito Range

When The Body Shop release a new scent to their bodycare collection, I'm usually all over it like a rash. The release of the Virgin Mojito range was another one to grab my attention and I couldn't wait for my birthday shopping trip to get my hands on some of the products.

My Favourite Tanning Product

I'm not a big fan of fake tan. I'm not very patient, so standing around waiting for the product to dry just for a bit of colour really doesn't appeal to me. Plus, I'm quite pale skinned, so quite often fake tan can look out of place on me and like I've just overdone it on the sunbed! I have, however, found a product that gives me just a subtle hint of a tan, and doesn't take forever to dry, and it's been my go to for years.

London Butterflies Bath Salt Scrub

When I saw this sample pot in last month's Birchbox, I was so excited to try it out. The box that it came in was such a pretty powder blue, and I loved the silver butterflies. Plus it was weighty - a sign of a real luxury product! I have to say though, since trying it I'm left with mixed feelings.

The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Range

This range has been out for quite a while, and I've been pretty excited about it ever since the launch, but with so many The Body Shop products clogging up my drawers, there was really no justification in me buying any more, so I was really excited to see a little goodie bag of Wild Argan Oil treats under the tree on Christmas Day.

The Body Shop Raspberry Body Scrub

I'd already purchased the Raspberry Body Butter during last summer, which featured in one of last year's monthly favourites. It's quite possible overtaken strawberry as my favourite The Body Shop scent, so when I spotted the body scrub half price in their sale, I had to pick this up too.

Introducing my favourite body product of Christmas 2014....Yog Nog might not be the most aesthetically pleasing of products, but boy does it pack a punch in the scent department. This stuff is like Christmas in a bar.

Well this bag was considerably easier to pack than my makeup bag! I managed to find a pretty big toiletries bag for just £4 from Primark, which fits all of these products in with quite a bit of room to spare, just in case I've missed anything out!
