Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Masks

I'm a huge fan of the Hydraluron serum by Indeed Labs, and it's been a staple in my skincare routine for around a year now. Ever since the release of its sheet mask counterpart I've been tempted to give them a go, but the price tag was putting me off. After reading on Zoe's blog that Indeed Labs products were 1/3 off in Boots plus, if you pick up a copy of the latest Boots magazine, you can get an extra fiver off too, I was straight down to my nearest store, and managed to get these for less than half price!

Hydraluron masks contain 3D time release hyaluronic acid to help skin feel hydrated for longer (up to 24 hours apparently!). All you do is cleanse your face as normal, then manoeuvre the sheet mask into place on your face - trying not to get any of the mask in your eyes or mouth! I've always been told my face is small so, of course, the mask was way too big for me. However, as the mask is packed full of moisture, it's quite easy to stick into place. You are going to be left twiddling your thumbs (as well as looking pretty scary!) for the 15 minutes you leave the mask on for though - if you move about, the sheet will start to come off, so it's probably best to put this mask on as you are about to settle down and watch your favourite tv programme!

Once the 15 minutes are up, simply remove the mask, massage the excess serum into your skin and finish off your skincare routine with your moisturiser of choice. I was surprised at just how much of the serum had been drunk up by my skin - it was obviously in need of some serious hydration! When I woke up in the morning, my skin felt more plump than it usually would, even before I had started my morning skincare routine. Because my skin was so smooth, makeup application was effortless and the finish looked better than normal. I'm not too sure if it gives a full 24 hours moisture retention, but my skin felt nice and hydrated for the majority of the day.

I'll spare you the horror of seeing me wearing the mask, but this is what it looks like!
Overall, I'm really impressed with the results I got from using this mask. It definitely gives your skin an added moisture boost, compared to just using the original Hydraluron serum. The only thing I really don't like about this product is the price! At £19.99 for just four masks, it makes for a pretty expensive treatment, and I definitely won't be using it the recommended once a week - these are being saved for serious moisture emergencies only! Saying that, I would definitely repurchase them again, but only when they are on offer!

You can currently pick these masks up on offer for £13.33 in Boots - don't forget to get your voucher from the latest Boots magazine to get an extra £5 off too! Thanks for the tip Zoe!

Have you tried the Hydraluron Face Masks? What did you think?
