My New Yankee Candles

Ok, so these candles aren't exactly new to me anymore - this picture was taken just before I had my blogging break last month, but I never got round to writing the actual post! As everyone loves a good Yankee Candle, I thought I'd still write it - better late than never, hey?! So, all of these candles were actually bought for me as Christmas gifts. My friends and family know me so well! As I've had them for a while now, I can also give you my thoughts on them a bit more...

Fireside Treats This really does smell like marshmallows on a fire, it's absolutely gorgeous. It's a little bit sweet, but the scent is so subtle that it's not overpowering at all. It's still strong enough that you can get a waft of it when you walk back into the room though. This is a great candle for cosy winter nights snuggled up on the sofa.

Pain Au Raisin My sister bought this candle for her house a few months before Christmas and it smelled so good that it instantly went on my wishlist. I haven't started to burn this one yet, as I'm saving it for when we move into the new house, but I can see it becoming one of my favourite Yankee Candles, as it's that yummy foodie scent that I always go for.

Salted Caramel Speaking of yummy foodie scents, this candle is (so far) my favourite Yankee Candle. This was a Secret Santa gift from one of my friends and, whilst I had hinted that I liked foodie candles best, I couldn't believe it when she picked my absolute favourite (I may have mentioned it on my blog before, but I'm pretty sure she doesn't read it!). It's a much stronger scent than the other two candles, so much so that you can smell it when it's not burning, and smells amazing, just like billionaires shortbread! My current one is reaching it's end, so I'm so happy to have a back up in stock now.

Lavender I'm so happy that I received this candle at Christmas, as it's not one I would've gone out and bought myself, but it has been so nice and relaxing to burn. I've kept this on my bedside table, and burned it when I've been feeling a little stressed, or I know I'm going to struggle to sleep. I really do think that it has made a difference. It gives off your typical lavender scent. but is still quite nice and subtle - you don't want anything too overpowering just before bedtime!

What's your favourite Yankee Candle?
