My Favourite Budget Eyeshadow Palettes

Whilst for me nothing will ever quite beat a good Urban Decay palette, there have been some really good alternatives cropping up on the high street recently which are really starting to rival them in terms of quality, and beat them hands down on price. It's making feeding my eyeshadow addiction that little bit cheaper! Here are some of my picks of the drugstore palettes.

Makeup Revolution Romantic Smoked £4.00

I can't believe this is the only Makeup Revolution eyeshadow palette I own at the moment, I will definitely be rectifying this soon. I bought this particular palette because the shades were like nothing else I had in my collection. There's some really gorgeous purples in here, and the olive green shimmer shade is stunning. You get a lot of product in this palette for £4 too - I was expecting the pans to be much smaller, but they've really given you your monies worth.

MUA Undressed £4.00
MUA is basically like Makeup Revolution's older sister - a lot of their products are the same and have the same price point. MUA were the first ones on the block with their Urban Decay Naked palette dupes, this one being a dupe of Naked 1, my favourite of the three palettes. This palette has had a lot of use. I'm quite precious about my UD palettes and don't like to travel around with them, so this MUA palette has been great to pop in my makeup bag and take away with me.

Rimmel Brixton Brown £6.99
If you've had your eye on the Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita palette but it's a little out of your budget, this palette is a great alternative. It's not a complete dupe but still very similar. You don't get the insanely sparkly shade, but it still contains the iconic red from the Dolce Vita palette. If I'm completely honest I prefer the red in the Rimmel palette anyway!

Soap & Glory What's Nude £10.00
This one's slightly more pricey, especially as it's only a quad, but it has some really gorgeous, good quality shadows in there. It's a great one for travelling with as you've got everything you'd need for a brown smokey eye. The combination of shades also make it a good one for transforming from day to night. The shimmer shade in the bottom right is so pretty and is quite similar to MAC's Satin Taupe, just slightly less grey toned.

What's your favourite drugstore eyeshadow palette?
