Pretty In Pink

Happy Valentine's Eve, haha! So, as it's Valentine's Day tomorrow, and it's seems that wherever I go I'm surrounded by all things pink and hearts, I thought I'd share with you some of my favourite pink makeup products, just I case you feel like getting with the theme tomorrow!

Eyes
I think eyes are the trickiest place to rock anything pink, and it can sometimes just look like you've got really sore eyes or not had enough sleep! The Urban Decay Naked 3 palette has a great selection of rose toned shades, my personal favourite shade being Buzz (fifth shade down in the above picture). It's also got a few darker tones if you fancy smoking it out a little. If you're after something a little quicker and easier to apply, the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pink Gold is a great swipe and go product. The colour is stunning and the texture is so creamy and smooth.

Cheeks
I love a good pink blush - until recently it was the only blush shade I opted for. One of my favourite items to pop into a travel makeup bag is the Sleek Blush Palette in Pink Lemonade. You've got a choice of three gorgeous pink tones, and both powder or cream formula. Sleek have some of the best blushes on the high street, they are so pigmented and long lasting. My personal favourite from the palette in the middle shade, Macaroon.

Lips
I've combined two of my favourite lip launches of 2014 in this post! First up is the Revlon Matte Balm in Elusive. Considering this is a matte product it's really comfortable to wear and applies really easily - no drying or dragging at all. Elusive is a gorgeous soft pink shade which is ideal for everyday wear. If you fancy brightening it up a little, the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Pink Pong is a great option. These apply like a lipgloss but then dry to a matte formula, without drying out your lips in the process, plus they will last you all night - perfect if you're being treated to dinner!

Nails
Again I've gone for a bright and a softer version, depending on your tastes. Essie have a great selection of pinks in their nail polish range, but my favourite has to be Watermelon. It's bright but without being really in your face. It's one I love to wear in the summer, but of course you could rock it any time of year. If you're more into your baby pinks then the Barry M Silk Polish in Blossom is a pretty pick. You do have to work a little harder with this shade to achieve and opaque finish, but the silk effect is beautiful and well worth the effort.

What's your favourite pink makeup product?
