The Pre Christmas Pamper

I love a good old pamper session at any time, but that one just before Christmas just feels that extra special, with all the festive scents and colours. The pre Christmas pamper has become routine in my build up to the big day in recent years, and I usually carry it out just before I go to be on Christmas Eve. Here's a rundown of some of the products I'll be using this year.

To kick the pamper session off, I like to head into the shower. Just before I go though, I'll pop on my Charles Worthington Moisture Seal Mask to make sure my hair is in it's best condition for Christmas. I'll just leave it on for around 20 minutes, then rinse it off before I wash my hair. Whilst in the shower, I'll use my Soap & Glory Breakfast Scrub to give my skin a good polish. This scrub in the best I've used for removing dead skin, without being so harsh that you're left feeling sore afterwards. I'll then give my skin a good wash with the Lush Yog Nog Soap. This stuff is Christmas in a bar, it smells so good and lingers on this skin for so long after use.

Once I'm out of the shower, I'll give my skin some extra moisture by applying The Body Shop Vanilla Brulee Body Butter. All of the scents from The Body Shop's Christmas range this year are so good, but I think the Vanilla Brulee one compliments the Yog Nog soap best, and the combination of the two on your skin leaves it smelling sooooo nice and festive.

Once I've got dressed into my festive PJs, I'll light a candle and either stick on a DVD or any good Christmas TV I can find, and begin my festive manicure. My favourite festive candle is the Yankee Candle Christmas Memories. I have a little left over in my small jar, so I'll definitely be saving this for my pamper session. It's one of those spicy scents that I love, and reminds me of gingerbread and mince pies! Before I being, I'll make sure my hands are properly moisturised by applying The Body Shop Almond Hand & Nail Cream. This is a new discovery for me, as I got in my advent calendar at the start of the month, but I already love it and it leaves my hands feeling so soft. For my nails, I'm a little bit torn over what to do at the moment. I'll either be apply my Elegant Touch Christmas false nails, which you can see here, or I'll be painting them with my Models Own Artstix, which comes with a base colour on one end and a glitter top coat on the other. I'm sure you'll see on Instagram which one I go for in the end!

Once it's time to go to bed, I'll run through my evening skincare routine, making sure I apply my Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask just before hitting the hay, so that my face is lovely, glowing and hydrated on Christmas morning. Then I try my very best to get a decent nights sleep, but I'm such a big kid it takes me so long with all the excitement haha!

Do you have a pre Christmas pamper routine?
